UPSHUR COUNTY, TX (KLTV) -
On Wednesday evening, the Upshur County Sheriff's Office responded to a disturbance on Ginger Road in northern Upshur County. Responding deputies learned that two people had been stabbed and the suspect had poured gasoline on a travel trailer and threatened to set it on fire.
Upon arrival, deputies found two victims, who were transported to an area hospital to be treated for their injuries.
The suspect was located and identified as Eddie Douglas Baker.
It was later reported to the sheriff's office that a woman who lived with the suspect was missing and had not been heard from or seen since Tuesday. Deputies took a missing persons report from a relative and returned to the missing woman's residence in an attempt to locate her. Deputies found the woman dead when they arrived at the residence.
The woman has been identified as Tana Fuller Warren.
Baker has been charged with murder and two counts of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon. He is being held in the Upshur County Jail on $1.35 million bond.
The incidents are currently under investigation by the Upshur County Sheriff Office Criminal Investigation Division.
