Phone outage affects MPD, Shelby County offices

MEMPHIS, TN -

(WMC-TV) - A phone outage within the Memphis police communications system is affecting the police department's non-emergency phone line.

According to Sergeant Alyssa Macon-Moore with the Memphis Police Department, anyone needing police assistance should call 911 until further notice.

Incidents requiring offense reports will be handled by contacting your nearest police station. You will find a list of those below:
