The University of Memphis announced Wednesday it has extended the contract of head football coach Justin Fuente.
The Tigers add a one year extension to his contract meaning Fuente is now signed through the 2017 season.
Fuente led the Tigers to a 4-8 record in his first season as coach and will lead the team to its first year in the Big East conference this fall.
