A look ahead: Putting unbreakable screens to the test for school security

Posted: Updated:
MEMPHIS, TN -

(WMC-TV) - A Mid-South manufacturer is ready to settle the debate over how to secure our schools in the wake of the Columbine, Jonesboro, and Newtown tragedies.

Action News 5's Chief Consumer Investigator Andy Wise tested what just might be a breakthrough.

You might argue for a ban on assault weapons. You might argue for armed guards in schools, but a Mid-South company's product could be the answer to school security.

Andy Wise will test a product that just might be unbreakable and reveal his findings to a survivor of the Westside Middle School shooting in Jonesboro. Does he think this product would have made a difference?

The answer is coming up on Action News 5 at 10 p.m.
