CLARKSVILLE, TN (WSMV) -

Two men were locked inside the back of their delivery truck and had their employer's money stolen from the vehicle on Sunday, according to Clarksville police.

The theft occurred around 1:30 p.m. when a food company was making a delivery to Chopsticks Restaurant on Wilma Rudolph Boulevard.

Police said the delivery men were inside the back of the truck when a man crawled underneath the vehicle and pulled the rear door down, trapping the workers inside.

The thief was able to break into the cab through the driver's side window and stole a bag containing a large amount of money and then escaped.

Police said this all took place in less than a minute.

An employee from inside of business came out a short time later and let the two men out.

The robber is described as a tall, thin, white man who is about 6' 3" tall.
