HELENA-WEST HELENA, AR -

(WMC-TV) - A fisherman putting nets out in the Mississippi River discovered the partially clothed body of a man.

The body was about one mile south of the Helena Bridge.

"I'm a commercial fisherman," said Robert Randleas, who found the body.  "I was setting my nets out.  My son said, 'There's a deer floating.' I said, 'That's not a deer.'  We eased up on it and found out it was a body."

According to Sylvester Rose with the Phillips County Sheriff's Office, the body is that of a white man.

Action News 5's Janice Broach spoke with the fisherman who discovered the body.  Hear from him tonight on the news at 10 p.m.
