MEMPHIS, TN -
(WMC-TV) - If anyone knows what it is like to wait, it is Memphis Tiger season ticket holder Sue Shelton.
Just after 6 p.m. Saturday night, she was waiting outside the Wilson Air Center waiting for the to come home.
"My back will only take so much standing," she said.
But the standing was worth it for a chance to say hello to the team the will continue on to the NCAA tournament.
But not before they are welcomed home by fans who are proud of them for winning the CUSA championship title.
Fans recalled great moments from the season and Saturday's game.
"I think they've had a great season, I think Josh does amazing things with those boys and I think they've had a great season and they'll go far," said fan Theresa Smith.
Fans congratulated the players, and now everyone will have a little more waiting to do to see what is next.
