AUBURN HILLS, MI -
(WMC-TV) - The University of Memphis Tigers are getting ready for their weekend match-up against Michigan State.
Things are quiet at The Palace of Auburn Hills.
The teams' practices are closed and cameras are no longer allowed inside.
In the meantime, fans are finding other ways to entertain themselves as they wait for the next game to tip-off.
"We have a great hotel, great group of people, we're just talking about the game," said Harold Byrd. "We're gonna probably drive into Canada and drive around certain areas, may go to the Henry Ford museum."
"I'm gonna sit around and watch other ball games. Some people are talking about going to Canada but I'm gonna stay here," said Frank Inman.
With some time Friday to think, fans are considering the Tigers' chances.
"We can beat them, we will beat them, but we gotta pick it up a little bit," added Inman.
"Anything can happen in a ball game and if the kids are fired up, I think Michigan State may be in trouble," said Gaylon Hall.
