MEMPHIS, TN -

(WMC-TV) - Investigators have no new leads in the death investigation of a Memphis teen killed while working at a restaurant.

Friends and family of Aaron Vazquez want his killer to be found.

There is still a trail to be followed on the case after police found Vazquez's car had been brought back to the scene of the crime Wednesday.

Tarondal Phillips would have been deejaying with his close friend this week at WUMR radio at the University of Memphis.

"They took his keys, they took his wallet, they took his car, they killed him, and I immediately fell to the ground," explained Phillips.

But instead of spending time with his good friend, Phillips is grieving.

On Wednesday, Vasquez's car appeared outside El Toro Loco where he was killed after work.

A manager says the keys were in the vehicle and police were reviewing surveillance footage from the area.

Vasquez's radio station manager hopes the impounded vehicle reveals the missing piece to the troubling puzzle.

"We've all seen CSI, this is going to be a good opportunity, he's going to leave something in that car that they can catch," said Malvin Massey, WUMR station manager.

Inside the restaurant is a surveillance photo from police that employees hope someone will recognize.

Phillips was at Vasquez's funeral Wednesday.

"The worst thing was talking to his mom, because they look exactly alike," he said. "Who did it? I wish that person would be brought to justice."
