Two inmates escape from W. Tennessee penitentiary

HENNING, TN -

(WMC-TV) - Two inmates are missing from a minimum security annex in Henning, Tennessee.

The two inmates were close to being released from the West Tennessee State Penitentiary Annex when they escaped.

Ashton Siler, 21, was serving an eight year prison sentence for drug convictions. He would have been eligible for parole in 2014.

Dustin Wayman, 20, was serving a sentence for auto burglary. He would have been released in January.

Now, both inmates will face an additional five year sentence when they are captured.
