Germantown police search for missing woman

(WMC-TV) – Germantown police are asking for the public's help locating a missing Achievement School District kindergarten teacher and mother.

Heather Palumbo-Jones did not report to work and has not been heard from since Monday, according to investigators. Her residence was found secured with her vehicle parked in the driveway.

Her cell phone, purse and keys appear to be missing.

Friends have posted concerning messages on her Facebook page saying they are thinking about her and praying for her, and hope that she comes home safe.

Palumbo- Jones' Facebook page indicates she graduated from the University of Memphis and has taught kindergarten at Memphis City Schools.

The name Palumbo is familiar to long-time Memphians. Her grandfather, Frank Palumbo was a former Memphis city engineer and director of public works.

Heather Palumbo-Jones was last seen at her Germantown home on Monday. She is 33-years-old, 5'8", 130 pounds with hazel eyes.
