Second Boston Marathon suspect alive in custody

(WMC-TV) - The Boston Marathon bombing suspect is in custody and alive according to NBC News.

The arrest of Dzhokhar A. Tsarnaev, 19, puts an end to a manhunt that began late Friday night when an officer on the MIT campus was shot and killed. Tsarvaev's brother, Tamerlan, 26, was killed a few hours later in a shootout with police.

Early Friday, officials shut down the entire city of Boston and surrounding towns as they searched for the surviving suspect in the marathon bombings.
