Stoudamire leaves UofM coaching staff

Posted: Updated:

The University of Memphis has announced assistant coach Damon Stoudamire is departing to become an assistant coach at the University of Arizona.

Stoudamire joins the staff at his alma mater after serving two years at the UofM under head coach Josh Pastner.

The 1996 NBA rookie of the year also spent three seasons playing for the Memphis Grizzlies.

This leaves Pastner with two vacancies on his staff. He will begin his search to fill those spots immediately.
