MEMPHIS, TN -

(WMC-TV) - It is all fun and games until somebody gets hurt.

The Action News 5 Investigators are tackling safety at Mid-South sporting events.

Whether it is at the FedExForum, the ballpark, or the race track, have you ever thought about the hidden costs that come with your ticket?

It is all in the fine print on the back of your ticket stub.

"I actually have read it before," said sports fan Heath Corwin. "But, is it going to happen to you? You don't ever think it's going to happen to you, so you really don't give it any thought."

"It's your responsibility. No one forced you to buy the tickets and no one drug you to the ballpark," added sports fan Mary Lois Banks.

"The court's going to look at the total picture of the circumstances involved. Was safety applied?" said attorney Alan Hargrove.

Safety is becoming as important as the score at Mid-South sports venues. What rights do you have despite the tiny text on the back of your ticket?
