MEMPHIS, TN -

(WMC-TV) - 15-year-old Cordarius Webb was shot and killed on Spottswood in April.

His own brother, Dewayne McKissack, is charged in the shooting.

But before McKissack confessed, investigators say the family blamed a neighbor: a woman who filed an affidavit claiming she was harassed and assaulted just one day after the shooting.

"I want justice for my son and I need them folks off the street," Cordarius' mother Bernestine Webb said the day after her son was killed.

According to the police affidavit, it's the same day that she,her daughter Angel Scott, and son Timothy Crawford approached the woman at her home in Orange Mound.

The affidavit says Crawford raised his shirt, displaying a silver handgun, saying "You killed my brother so I'm going to kill you!"

Scott was reportedly swinging a wooden two-by-four and making death threats.

And Bernestine Webb was hitting a metal pipe on the ground, yelling, "You took my son's life, I'm going to take yours."

Just days later McKissack, Webb's older brother, admitted to the shooting.

He's being held on a $500,000 bond.

Angel Scott is charged with aggravated assault and is out of jail on a $10,000 bond.

Warrants have been issued for Bernestine Webb and Timothy Crawford.
