Grindhouse preps for 18,000 Grizz fans

Posted: Updated:

(WMC-TV) - It is once again that time to believe in Memphis. The Grizzlies are back at the Grindhouse Saturday evening for game three of its series against the Oklahoma City Thunder.

Crews at the FedExForum are getting the venue prepared for the sellout crowd.

"We know the fan base is behind us and they have been this entire year," said Grizzlies Vice President of Marketing John Pugliese.

Since fans are superstitious about breaking tradition, growl towels await each fan.

City Gear locations around Memphis are giving away exclusive "We Don't Bluff" t-shirts with every $10 purchase.

Grizzlies gear has been selling out at City Gear, but there is still plenty of Grizzlies items left and a lot still leftover from the series against the LA Clippers. But then again, who cares?

It is a new day and an old rival is heading to town. The Thunder will have to deal with the grit, the grind, and 18,000 fans, who are hungry to rewrite history.

Saturday's game is sold out, but there are a limited number of single game tickets for game four on Monday night.

The party at the plaza begins at 2 p.m. Tip-off is at 4 p.m.
