(WMC-TV) - A new petition in regards to the Holly Bobo case is circulating asking for more resources in the search.

The last time anyone in Holly Bobo's family saw her the 21-year-old nursing student was walking into the woods behind their Darden, Tennessee home with a man wearing camouflage.

Although grateful for their efforts, Karen Bobo expressed frustration with the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation during an interview with Action News 5's Janice Broach in early May.

She said TBI agents were not updating her on how the investigation was going.

Bobo family has started an online petition that already has more than 6,000 signatures. They are hoping to get a total of 10,000 by National Missing Persons Day which is May 25.

Family and friends believe the TBI is overloaded with cases and need more resources, which is why the petition asks Governor Haslam and the state legislature to refocus efforts and bring in more resources – like a task force to find every missing person in Tennessee.
