MCS honors "Irreplaceables" with exhibit

(WMC-TV) - Memphis City Schools' top teachers are being honored in a new exhibit.

In the South Main Arts District today MCS unveiled the multimedia exhibit titled "I teach. I am...an Irreplaceable."

The exhibit features educators at the top of their profession in Memphis City Schools classrooms.

"We're hoping to shed some light for the Memphis community on the amazing teachers that we have in Memphis City and showcase our best and brightest teachers that we have," Tennessee Teacher of the Year Allyson Chick said.

The exhibit will be on display through May 25 from 1 p.m. until 8 p.m. at 75 South Main in downtown Memphis.

It is free and open to the public.
