MEMPHIS, TN -

(WMC-TV) - With the biggest Grizzlies game yet and a sold out Paul McCartney show, the FedExForum is preparing for a busy weekend.

"To have a western Conference final, then a major, major concert. He's an ex-Beatle for crying out loud and them going back to a final all in three days is awesome," said FedEx Forum Arena Operations Vice President Eric Granger.

He said it will take a lot of planning, but will be well worth it.

"This is a whole new world for us. It's fantastic," said Granger. "We're on the world stage now."

FedExForum is bracing for 450 members of the media.

ESPN is literally moving in. They built scaffolding, across MLK Boulevard, to carry cables to their broadcast compound.

"They're editing, [doing] their planning, [having] their meetings," said Granger. "We'll have a camera that will move up and down the court."
