Flash flood warning in effect for Shelby & DeSoto Counties

MEMPHIS, TN -

(WMC-TV) - A flash flood warning is in effect for Shelby County and DeSoto County, Mississippi.

The warning will stay in effect until 11:15 p.m. Tuesday.

Doppler radar estimates two to four inches of rain has fallen over the past two hours. The National Weather Service predicts another two to four inches will fall in the next few hours.

Locations in the warning include Horn Lake, Olive Branch, Southaven, Bartlett, Germantown, Midtown Memphis, Millington, Cordova, and T.O. Fuller State Park.

Do not drive your car onto water covered roadways The water depth may be too deep for your car to cross.
