MEMPHIS, TN -

(WMC-TV) - A man is under arrest and charged with sexual exploitation of a minor after images of child sexual abuse were found on his personal property left behind after being fired from a job.

Scotty Peyton was fired from a local IT company in October 2012. As the company was looking through digital media files left behind, explicit images surfaced.

The photos were turned over to the Memphis Police Department Internet Crimes Against Children Unit, who opened up an investigation.

A search warrant was executed Thursday at Peyton's home. Additional electronic devices were seized.

Peyton was arrested and charged with sexual exploitation of a minor.
