Thousands make their way to the farm for Bonnaroo 2013

Posted: Updated:
MANCHESTER, TN (WSMV) -

Thousands of people are making themselves at home this weekend in Manchester, as the fun at the 2013 Bonnaroo Music and Arts Festival has already started.

The first concerts began Thursday afternoon, and there are already two themes so far: lots of water and waiting.

Temperatures reached 90 degrees, with the heat index even higher, as the first of about 90,000 people made their way through the gates onto the farm.

And if you aren't braving the mud and sweat this year, you can still enjoy the music from Bonnaroo. Every band performing at Bonnaroo is stopping at a recording studio at the festival where they will play two or three songs and sit for an interview to be broadcast later on YouTube.

Plus, dozens of radio stations are broadcasting a special Bonnaroo playlist live from the farm. For more information, visit: http://www.bonnaroo.com.
