Donor to match contributions to Nashville Rescue Mission

Posted: Updated:
NASHVILLE, TN (WSMV) -

An anonymous donor is hoping a friendly challenge will help bring more money into the Nashville Rescue Mission.

The donor is offering to match any money given to the mission, up to $150,000.

The Nashville Rescue Mission is involved with helping the community's hungry and homeless. The mission's website is urging people to give, so they can provide twice as many meals and nights of shelter.

There is a time limit for donations, though. You must make your contribution by the end of the month.

For more information on how to donate, visit: http://www.nashvillerescuemission.org/matching_challenge_2013.
