(WMC-TV) - D.J. Stephens was the first former Tiger to work out for the hometown Grizzlies.
Now it's Adonis Thomas' turn before Thursday's draft.
The former Melrose star and McDonalds All-American began his career with the Tigers projected as an early first round draft pick.
But after an injury filled sophomore season, the 6'7" forward star saw his numbers and his stock plummet.
His decision to forgo the rest of his college career in hopes of early ticket to the NBA took many by surprise, but just three days away from learning what his future holds, Thomas says he has no regrets.
The Grizzlies hold picks at 41, 55, and 60th overall.
The Draft set for Thursday at 6 p.m.
