Woman who drove to restaurant after being shot dies at hospital

MEMPHIS, TN -

(WMC-TV) - The woman who drove to a downtown restaurant for help after being shot has died.

Memphis police are investigating the early morning shooting that ended outside the Domino's Pizza on Union Avenue near Southwest Community College.

Around 3:15 a.m. Wednesday, the victim drove a 1994 Honda Accord into the parking lot, started honking the horn, then fell out of the car. She was rushed to The MED in critical condition. She was pronounced dead several hours later.

Right now investigators are working to determine where the woman was shot and who is responsible.
