MEMPHIS, TN - (WMC-TV) – Rivercrest Elementary School teacher Christy Street is out on bond, facing serious criminal charges for her alleged involvement in an elaborate drug ring.

Just before 5:30 Friday night, 34-year-old Christy Street walked out of Jail East on bond, escorted by family members.

It's a long way from her home on Graham Oaks Court where Thursday police arrested her and her husband Jeremy Street.

According to an affidavit, inside the home police found 21 firearms, almost a pound of marijuana, drug paraphernalia and ammunition.

Neighbors here were afraid to go on camera, telling us Street's mother serves as vice president of the homeowners association.

But one neighbor saw police Thursday and was shocked when he found out why.

Police are also linking the husband and wife to a house on Estridge where they found four live marijuana plants, more ammunition, surveillance cameras and evidence of an entire grow operation.

Another man, Wesley Spring, was also arrested in connection to the operation.

Street faces felony charges for possession of marijuana and a firearm. She's set to appear in court on Monday morning. Her future at Rivercrest Elementary remains unclear.

The other two suspects were still in jail Friday night.
