A look ahead: Mid-South's most dangerous intersections

Posted: Updated:
MEMPHIS, TN -

(WMC-TV) - How safe are the roads you drive most often?

Tuesday, on Action News 5 at 10 p.m., the Investigators will reveal the most dangerous intersections across the Mid-South and what is being done to make them safer for you.

"There's a lot of people that love to run the light. They speed up and down through here," said Travis Wright, who lives in Memphis.

"People aren't paying attention when they merge. Instead of putting on their blinker and slowing down, they speed up," added David McGriff, Jr., Shelby County Sheriff's Office Crash Investigation Unit.

Are inattentive drivers to blame? Or is it something else? And are you willing to pay to have the problem fixed?

Action News 5 investigates the region's most dangerous intersection Monday at 10 p.m.
