(WMC-TV) - As the Memphis Grizzlies transition into the Dave Joerger coaching era, the new head man is making changes to his staff starting with the release of several assistants.
Assistant coach Henry Bibby won't be retained.
He came to Memphis when former Head Coach Lionel Hollins took over the Grizz in mid-season of 2009.
Also released is longtime assistant Mitchell Anderson, who spent the early parts of his Grizzlies career as a scout when the team first moved to Memphis in 2000.
Joerger is now in the market for a new strength and conditioning coach with the release of Kelly Lambert.
Joerger says he wants the Grizzlies to play faster this year, and has warned the players to come to camp in shape, expecting to push the teams tempo.
