MEMPHIS, TN -
(WMC-TV) - A Memphis police officer and a woman are both in non-critical condition after their cars collided at the intersection of Western Park Drive and Double Tree Road, west of Whitehaven, Sunday afternoon.

According to the Memphis Police Department supervisor on the scene, it is unclear what exactly happened; however, we do know the crash involved on-duty officer, Gregory Turner.

Neighbor Georgia Hoskins stepped outside this afternoon to find a car in her front yard. Hoskins said she was inside when the crash happened; but, quickly rushed outside and saw the police cruiser missing a front tire. According to Hoskins, Officer Turner seemed shaken and the woman driving the other car may have had a leg injury.
