(WMC-TV) - A woman was abducted from one bank and forced to withdraw money from another Monday.

The 46-year-old victim was simply trying to deposit a check at the Regions Bank on Covington Pike when a man showed up. While in the parking lot, he asked her for directions.

When she got out of her vehicle, he forced her back in. Police say he threatened to hurt the woman if she did not drive to a nearby store to pick up an alleged female accomplice.
