Posted: Updated:

(WMC-TV) - Caught on tape... two gunman hold up a pair of friends, fire at a house, and then shoot one of the buddies.

In Frayser county, victims Dean McCoy and his friend David Reape are reeling from the July 16 incident.

"I thought they were going to kill me," stated McCoy.

McCoy and Reape were on the porch when two men walked up.

"They were) walking down the sidewalk and asked 'what time it was'. I told them what time it was and they came out with two guns," told Reape.

Moments later, Reape was wounded after handing over his wallet.

"(They) looked at him and shot him. Then started shooting the house up," explained McCoy.

Reape questions why he got shot in the first place.

"I did everything that he asked of me. I hope they get caught and get prosecuted," stated Reape.

One .40 caliber round went through the wall while another bullet pierced the kitchen window. McCoy's girlfriend and her five-year-old son were also inside. Her five-year-old son ran and hid in the closet.
