(WMC-TV) - Police are searching for a man who escaped from jail by running out the front door, and this was not the convict's first time escaping from jail.

Derrick Estelle had 26 charges varying from aggravated robbery, breaking and entering, burglaries, fleeing and several other charges.

In March, authorities spent hours searching for Estelle. He went into a wooded area, and officials set-up a perimeter – then arresting him several hours later.

Estelle's driver on Sunday afternoon, Tamera Upshaw, has a criminal record herself. She was arrested last September for shoplifting. With both Estelle and Upshaw still on the loose, Garland County deputies are warning they could be armed.

Typically, in the past any dealings with Estelle involved him being in possession of a firearm.
