NASHVILLE, TN (WSMV) -

A fight between two roommates landed one of them in the hospital and the other is facing charges for pulling out a knife.

The roommates were apparently arguing about the TV being too loud and the fight got out of hand.

The victim was eventually stabbed in the face.

The fight happened in a home off 11th Avenue North, where the victim and defendant rent rooms.

Police said the victim turned the TV volume down after the other roommate complained.

During the course of the argument, police said suspect Robert Wilson grabbed a knife and stabbed the victim in the face and stomach.

Wilson was charged with aggravated assault on his roommate. The victim was taken to Vanderbilt University Medical Center with non-life-threatening injuries.
