TALLMADGE, OH (WOIO) -

The deaths of a Tallmadge mother and her young son are being investigated as a double homicide.

The bodies of Wendy Ralston, 31, and her son, Peyton, 5, were found wrapped in a comforter set in a wooded area in the 500 block of Stone Creek Drive on August 10.

Tallmadge Police said during a Tuesday morning news conference that they have conducted many interviews, but have made no arrests. They are working through a "massive" amount of evidence at this time.

Ralston's live-in boyfriend and father of little Peyton has been interviewed, but not arrested. He is being called a "person of interest" because he lives at the home where the homicides took place.

Police believe Ralston and her son were killed inside the Stone Creek Drive house. No weapons were found.

Police believe Ralston and Peyton disappeared on July 23. Police were called to the home numerous times on mostly domestic calls, but no calls came after July 23.

Anyone with information is urged to call Tallmadge police at 330-475-7638.
