JACKSON, TN -

(WMC-TV) - Mid-South authorities are looking for a man caught on bank surveillance cameras not once, but three times. Wearing sunglasses rather than a mask, this suspect's actions have some community members calling him the "Catch Me If You Can" bank robber.

"He looks kind of normal, which you wouldn't think he would be normal," said Allison Alexander, who works at a boutique right next to the First State Bank in North Jackson.

Jackson police say around noon Monday a guy in sunglasses walked in the bank handed the teller a note that said he had a bomb. He left without getting any money.

Then on Wednesday someone looking similar to the man in the sunglasses walked into the Bank of Jackson. He handed the teller a note that said he had a gun and wanted money. He got it that time.

In the surveillance video, he is wearing a shirt that says "public enemy #1" on the back.

"He goes in with sunglasses, and he thinks ... that's a good disguise, but if you really wanted to rob a bank you'd do it a lot better than that," said Shelly Ridings, who works near the bank.

She says the store surveillance camera caught a man fitting the sunglasses guy running through the parking lot. The FBI now has that video.

"I think it's very unusual. He's very brave, but he's gonna get caught," said Alexander.

Police believe the getaway car is a gold or champagne colored Honda Civic.

If you know who the man in the sunglasses is contact law enforcement.
