Students with perfect attendance could receive reward

MEMPHIS, TN -

(WMC-TV) - Shelby County students who stay in school could soon receive a shiny reward.

District Attorney Amy Weirich will join forces with Shelby County Schools to announce the details of a new program aimed at reducing truancy.

It's called the Bike Rewards Program and it will fund the purchase of new bicycles for students with perfect school attendance.
