CORDOVA, TN -

(WMC-TV) - One suspect is in custody, and police are searching for two others after a stick-up inside a popular Cordova country club.

Around 10:30 Monday night, six Colonial Country Club members were held at gunpoint and forced to the floor inside the clubhouse by two masked men who then stole nearly $17,000 cash from the group.

Early Friday morning, Sheree McKinley was booked into 201 Poplar and charged with six counts of aggravated robbery and one count of possession of a controlled substance.

McKinley is a former housekeeping employee at the country club, who managed to hold onto the clicker that opens the front gate even after she was fired.

Investigators say she used that clicker to get her accomplices onto the property and drive the getaway car after the robbery.

Barbara Kaferle lives near the club. She was already worried about a handful of recent break-ins nearby.

"This just adds to everything. We're concerned about the neighborhood and what's going on," she said.

McKinley's boyfriend, Patrick Foster, also got arrested on a drug charge. The affidavit says he is a suspect in the robbery, but those charges have not been filed.

The two masked men have not yet been arrested or booked into jail.
