MEMPHIS, TN -

(WMC-TV) - Memphis basketball star Lorenzen Wright's family hopes that a national crime documentary will generate new clues to his unsolved murder.

Monday night's story on TV One's Celebrity Crime Files program included interviews with reporters, police officers and Wright's mother Deborah Marion. The documentary spotlighted Wright's service to the community, as well as his basketball career.

Producers also recapped the mystery surrounding his death and where the investigation currently stands.

Shortly before the documentary aired on TV One, Marion sat down for an interview with Action News 5.

She says she's doing everything she can to help find her son's killer and is frustrated that a suspect has not been identified yet.

"Three years, right back it's just like its day one, day one 2010 day one. No further than from day one we still at day one. We just working on it, working the case, working the case nothing is going on, but I'm not going to let it sit there still and do nothing" Marion said.

Wright's family filed a missing persons report on July 22nd 2010. Six days later his body was found in a wooded area on Callis Cutoff Road.

He had been shot several times. Investigators are still asking anyone with information about Wright's death to call Crime Stoppers at 901-528-CASH.
