(WMC-TV) - Five people including a police officer were sent to the hospital after a three-vehicle accident Monday morning.

Two people were trapped in a vehicle at Oak Creek Cove and Kirby Parkway after a crash involving a police officer's cruiser. Early reports of the accident came in around 9:30 a.m.

An SUV also slammed into a house, according to police.

Reginald Simmons' wife was one of the people taken to the hospital in non-critical condition.

"Upset, very, cause I am hurt right now," said Simmons.

Neighbors complain of drivers speeding down the road; they say a car has gone into a house on the street before.

They want more police to monitor the area and catch drivers breaking the law.
