TOLEDO, OH (Toledo News Now) -

A man is recovering in the hospital after being shot outside an east Toledo bar early Thursday morning.

Police say Antonia Roundtree was standing outside the Bottom Line Bar in the 2000 block of Starr Avenue just before 1:00 a.m. Thursday when someone in the parking lot opened fire with a hand gun. Roundtree was hit once in the lower leg before running to a home across the street.

Roundtree was taken to the hospital for treatment, and is expected to make a full recovery.

Police say witness statements indicate the shooting was not a random act, and that Roundtree was the intended target.
