(WMC-TV) - A Mississippi teenager is in custody after a shooing at a homecoming parade.

According to Clarksdale police, a 17-year-old was arrested after two teens were shot Friday evening.

Investigators stated the victims were hit by gunfire along the parade route. One victim was hit in the arm and the other individual was shot in the leg.

Clarksdale High School Coach Tyrone Smith believes incidents like these make the whole county look bad.

"You've got a few knuckle heads in the county that want to act a fool and it makes the whole county look bad," stated Smith.

There were no other reports of violence at Friday's game.

Police have not yet released a motive behind the shooting.
