MEMPHIS, TN -

(WMC-TV) - He made headlines as one of the wealthiest people in the country, but now, Memphis Grizzlies controlling owner Robert Pera is making headlines for another reason – talking smack on twitter.

The 35-year-old was hitting the gym and getting ready to play a game of one-on-one with Grizzlies guard Tony Allen for charity last month, but it was canceled at the last minute.

Now, Pera is ready to challenge one of the best players to ever suit up: the one-and-only Michael Jordan!

Pera tweeted

"What's with all the 1on1 with Mark Cuban talk? I'm in but I would make quick work of him"

That was followed by a second tweet:

"If we are talking an owner game get me MJ! I'll up the charity to One million dollars."

Pera followed that tweet with:

"When someone replied asking how many points do you need MJ to spot you to make it fair..."

Robert Pera then replied zero in all caps.

Michael Jordan is considered one of the greatest, if not the greatest, to ever play the game, and even at 50 years old he is still staying active. In fact he made headlines this past summer for dunking with ease at his basketball camp.

We will see if Michael Jordan verses Robert Pera for a one-on-one game happens or not.
