Exciting tip off to kick off Grizz week

MEMPHIS, TN -

(WMC-TV) - Grizzlies fans, grab your growl towels, the Grizz week tip off is Thursday.

According to officials, supporters can expect to see the Grizz Nation come together around a series of exciting community and promotional events all over the city. The events will continue throughout the course of next week.

Grizz week will wrap up Wednesday, October 30th, as the Grizzlies head to San Antonio to take on the Spurs in the season opener.

The closing event will also feature a Halloween Costume Contest. The winner of the best overall costume will be awarded tickets to the Grizzlies' home opener against the Detroit Pistons on Friday, November 1, 2013.
