BARTLETT, TN -

(WMC-TV) - A class at St. Ann Catholic Church is reaching out with words to support the families who lost loved ones in the medical chopper crash in Somerville, Tennessee.

Students from the fourth grade class in Bartlett spent time making cards for Kyler, the son of Hospital Wing pilot Charles Smith.

Some of those students chose to share their words of hope and encouragement.

"I hope your family won't be that sad after you read this, we are always praying for you."

"We are all saying a prayer for you."

"I know how you feel. I lost my dad, too. Just know God will always love you and your dad will always love you, too."

"Just remember God is watching over your family."

"We will keep you in our prayers."

"We love you and we're praying for you."
