(WMC-TV) - The Shelby County Sheriff's Office arrested a suspect in connection to the murder of a 19-year-old in a Cordova apartment complex.
Michael Baker is charged with criminal attempted aggravated robbery.
According to a news release, he will not be charged in Montez Jackson's death after investigators ruled it a justifiable homicide.
Baker and Jackson were allegedly meeting a third person in a deal made on social media to sell an iPhone.
The buyer arrived at the complex to buy the phone, and Jackson pulled out a gun and demanded money. Then the buyer grabbed the gun and it went off killing Jackson. Read more about the shooting here.
