AAA, AA, A and SCISA Football Playoff Brackets Released

The full high school football playoff brackets for AAA, AA, A and SCISA have been released and several Lowcountry teams will have a shot at going after a state title. 

In AAA Hanahan, who completed an undefeated regular season with a 34-0 win over Stall on Friday, earned a 1 seed and will host Southside. Should the Hawks win, they'll host the winner of Swansea and Marlboro County next week. 

Berkeley, fresh off their road win over Hilton Head, was given a 3 seed and the Stags will head to Myrtle Beach for the opening round. If they can pull off an upset in round 1, they'll face the winner of Crestwood and Brookland-Cayce. 

In AA Division 1, Timberland is the lone Lowcountry team and the Wolves earned the 2 seed and a first round bye. They'll face the winner of Aynor and Marion in round 2. 

Four teams from the area will be competing in AA Division II. Bishop England is the 2 seed and gets a bye and the right to face the winner of Andrews/Calhoun County. Woodland also gets a bye as the 4 seed. They'll meet the winner of Mullins and Kingstree. North Charleston will be at Barnwell while Garrett will head to Lee Central. 

St. John's is the 3 seed in A Division 1, they'll host Hemingway. Baptist Hill sneaks in as the 8 seed and the right to face #1 Carvers Bay.

A Divison II features the only playoff game with 2 Lowcountry teams as 1 seed Cross hosts 8 seed Lincoln. 3 seed Military Magnet will host Creek Bridge. 

In SCISA, Porter-Gaud is the only team alive in AAA, they'll head to Hammond. In AA, Northwood will host Spartanburg Christian while Palmetto Christian will travel to Calhoun Academy. In A, Colleton Prep will host St. Andrew's and Dorchester will host Trinity-Byrnes. Finally in SCISA 8-man action, James Island Christian is a 1 seed hosting Clarendon Hall while Cathedral Academy will be on the road against Carolina Academy.
