The Memphis Grizzlies are back in action Monday night against the Boston Celtics, and if the first three games of the season are any indication of how the lineup will go, expect to see more and more M&M.
Mike Miller has made a name for himself coming off the bench in clutch situations, but he's seeing more time on the court in his latest stop with the Grizzlies.
The former Sixth Man of the Year played nearly 25 minutes in the opener against the Spurs, then followed up playing just over 32 minutes against the Pistons.
"Felt great. I think, obviously, it's been a while. But for me, my body felt good. I gotta get used to shooting tired if I'm gonna play that many," says Miller, who averaged just 15 minutes a game last year with the Heat.
Coach Dave Joeger says it's just the beginning for Miller.
"I am not going to save him for the playoffs. I'm sorry, he's gonna play. We need him, we need his space, his IQ, his professionalism, and his championship pedigree."
The Grizzlies are back home Monday night against Boston.
