MEMPHIS, TN -

(WMC-TV) - A former Memphis track coach was sentenced Tuesday to 90 days in prison for the statutory rape of a 14-year-old student on the track team.

Arlen C. Wilburn, 29, pleaded guilty to aggravated statutory rape on September 30, 2013.

The victim in the case said that on April 2, 2011, Wilburn told her that he had feelings for her. He later sent her inappropriate photos. She said Wilburn then asked her to take pictures of herself without any clothes on and sent her "text messages of a sexual nature."

The young girl said she and Wilburn had sex at the school on May 5, 2011.

In addition to spending 90 days in prison, Wilburn will be on probation for four years. He will be required to register as a sex offender and must complete sex offender counseling. He will no longer be able to work around children and he is banned from attending school events.
