RIPLEY, TN -

(WMC-TV) – There's an anti-bullying campaign going on right now in Ripley, TN. This campaign comes just days after a 15-year-old student at Ripley High, Dillan Custer, was found clinging to life after attempting suicide because of bullying.

Custer was found in time and was rushed to LeBonheur where he is still on life support. His recovery is expected to be slow.

Since the incident, friends of Custer and his family have pulled together to show their support.

Not only are people wearing blue ribbons but these same ribbons are being put everywhere in town and across Lauderdale County.

It's an effort to stop the bullying here and across the Mid-South.

Today on Action News at 5 , Justin Hanson talks to family and friends of Dillan Custer about his prognosis and what can be done to stop bullying.
