NASHVILLE, TN (WSMV) -

A CVS employee is accused of stealing thousands of dollars worth of prescription pills from her work.

According to the affidavit, 26-year-old Shannelle Sutton has allegedly been stealing from her job since June. In the past five months, she's accused of stealing 20 to 25 bottles of hydrocodone from the store in Bordeaux.

Police say surveillance cameras caught her putting a bottle of pills in her shirt on Monday.

Sutton told police she would give them to a friend, who would sell them and give her $300 per bottle.

Sutton is charged with theft and selling drugs and has been released on a $10,000 bond.
